class/series descriptions

ADULT GENTLE YOGA:   It is a great class for
those with little or no prior yoga experience.  
Restorative poses are incorporated.  This is "yummy
yoga" - you'll feel great!

MIXED LEVEL YOGA:  Basic yoga postures and
breathing techniques are incorporated into a relaxing
class.

MIXED LEVEL II YOGA:  Prior yoga experience
recommended for this vigorous class.  Ashtanga
inspired.

PRENATAL YOGA:  5 Week Series begins
April 3 (no class April 17).  
 No prior yoga
experience needed and you may practice at any time
during your pregnancy (with doctor's written
permission).  Gentle stretches and deep relaxation help
ease pregnancy discomforts.

PEACE PALS KIDS YOGA:  A cool program of
yoga, Tai Chi, visualizations, bio feedback
techniques and massage to help kids learn to
handle stress in a positive manner.  

MAT PILATES:  This is a mat based class designed
to strengthen and tone from the core muscles.  Based
on the teachings of Joseph Pilates.  Classes run in 6
week series.  Drop Ins welcome.

VINYASA FLOW:  Poses are linked together using
the breath ~  think of how Sun Salutations flow.

YOGA & BEYOND:  This class begins with gentle
yoga stretches to open the body, then moves to
Pranayama (breath work), deep relaxation and ends
with meditation.

*Wear clothing you can move in comfortably
*Limit perfume and fragrances for the comfort of others
*Bring your own mat if you have one.  We do have extras at the
